Baghali Polo (Persian Dill & Fava Bean Rice)

Taste Baghali Polo, a signature Persian rice dish at Chef Javad Restaurant, celebrated as one of London’s best for authentic Persian cuisine. This traditional favourite features fluffy, long-grain Basmati rice, delicately steamed and layered with aromatic fresh dill and tender fava beans (broad beans).

Often crowned with a golden, crispy Tahdig base (the coveted rice crust from the bottom of the pot), this fragrant dill and fava bean rice is a comforting classic.
